welcome soul metal collection

 Ahh! Today is the day of the launch of my website (ahhhh!) and my first ever collection: 

SOUL METAL COLLECTION 

I feel a whole bundle of excitement, nerves, vulnerability, limiting beliefs and the rest! this day I feel I have been dreading and excited for a long time. It has taken me months to do up my website, blood sweat and tears and I am finally ready to let the world see it - but it feels like I am letting everyone in to my own private world. I have built it on my own and while I'm so proud of it, I also am a perfectionist, but I am so happy with all the work I've put in and though I doubt I would ever feel ready for everyone to see it - I feel like its now or never. I feel the website represents what I want re to be and everything I want the brand to be. It's a creative space for creative beings to come and find their destined pieces of art that will help them feel unique and express themselves fully. I wish I could fly back to Tilly a few months ago and give her a hug when she was crying over not being able to do the website and tell her its going to be okay and it's going to be all worth it and its going to be bloody beautiful and something you're so excited to share with the world.

what is soul metal? 

soul metal came from a long chat I had with someone. my first collection was going to be a collection about topical steroid withdrawal, which I wont get too much into just yet, but after the chat we discussed and chatted about art and my jewellery being art. this sparked something inside me that lead me to create soul metal.

it allowed me to open my eyes, my heart and my creativity in a way that hasn't been before. of course jewellery is art! we decorate our houses with pictures and paintings which we call art, so of course by using jewellery we are decorating ourselves with art. 

soul metal is about exploration, experimenting and connecting to our creativity and connecting to a deeper part of ourselves, embracing your true self and letting your soul shine through. creativity is the souls way of telling a story, creativity is flow, it is the most important and vital part of this world. everything comes from creation. we are all and everything we do is creation. soul metal is about embracing that deeper part of ourselves and using creativity to express ourselves and embrace our uniqueness. 

for soul metal I deep dived into art, artists, spent time connecting to my inner creativity, spent time in nature to connect with creativity and really focused on what it means to live a creative life. 

all the pieces in this connection come from a combination of art, nature and pure creation. as uniqueness is a vital part of re's values; i wanted to make sure every single piece is unique and one-of-a-kind so you will not get the same as anyone. your piece will be completely unique to you.

I am so in love with each piece of this collection and I can't wait to share these pieces with you!
