meet Alysha

here is Alysha’s story and experience with us:

Before following Re, I always liked the look of ‘fashion jewellery’ in a ‘hippie’ sense, if you get me? I like the big chunky rings, the colours that match your chakras, feelings or birth month etc. However, I always went for little flimsy cheap items from shops, which yes they gave me the look I was going for to an extent however the quality obviously wasn’t there, nor were they staples that I could wear daily as my daily jewellery (they were also quite itchy sometimes as not high quality products). I have also never came across a brand where I have been like ‘yes, I want to spend more than £20 on a ring,.. until I came across Re.’  

After finding Re, when looking for jewellery going forward there are 3 aspects I will not pass on:

1/ Quality, the fact Re uses sterling silver is top notch, no flimsy plastic here thank you and the weight of the jewellery is very nice! 

2/. Uniqueness, this is important,.. we are human beings who are all individual, so why shouldn’t what we put onto our body be the same?

3/. Ethos, to use a business that has an ethos that reflects me and my beliefs is very important to me - and to support a small business totally elevates this too. 

From the first drop that was done on RE I was OBSESSED. The ethos of the business, the aesthetic of it and the person behind it just had me screaming ‘yes girl’ the whole time. The social media, the professionalism and the person behind and in front of the camera just draws you in. The fact that the person you see is wearing the jewellery made, looks beautiful in it and looks so radiant wearing them is all green flags to me. 

On the first drop I missed out on purchasing an item which obviously I was sad about, however come the second collection made called ‘Re-bloom’ I was obsessed with every piece made. I kept getting drawn to the ring I now have. Firstly I actually wasn’t sure about the design but the more I looked at it the more I was like,.. I NEED THIS RING IN MY LIFE. And so,.. I went for it. I can’t tell you the joy I had buying from a small, brand new independent business, and knowing that the ring was hand made with love, and also unique, knowing no-one else is going to have this ring just absolutely upscales this for me. There is no production line, it is a real person who has put so much effort and love into their pieces and to me, that is priceless. 

So when I purchased this ring, I was just starting my ‘law of attraction’ and ‘manifesting’ journey in terms of my own small business & in my personal life too. When I parted with the money to buy this ring, I had no guilt surrounding it like, ‘wow I just spent £72 on myself, I shouldn’t have done that’. Where no, I was like ‘My £72 is going to a great cause, supporting the owner of a small, woman owned business,   and I have this beautiful ring to show for it’. Now when I wear my ring I feel proud that I supported small, and every time I look at it, I associate it with my positive mind set that I am dialling in on for myself and my own business (and personally too). Wearing my ring makes me feel so elevated within myself. It may sound odd to some as ‘it’s just a ring’, but to me,. It’s much more. ‘I deserve to buy nice things for myself’ is what springs to mind when I look at my ring. 

When I am telling people to purchase from Re I always tell people about the quality of the product (and, reluctantly letting people try my ring on haha) and I will ALWAYS ask people to think about this: ‘if you would spend over £50 in a mainstream jewellery shop that’s likely been mass produced, why wouldn’t you  invest some money into a small company that you know is ONE PERSON pouring their soul and energy into making these gorgeous pieces that are high quality and unique to you’. 

This ring represents my shift in energy and mindset towards myself and my business. It represents that I am worth spending money on and that ‘I vote with my money’ in where I spend it. 

My overall experience with Re has been fantastic from start to finish, answering questions I had, getting back to me really quickly, helped me with measuring my finger for my size and also the packaging was beautiful, small touches mean everything too and the whole experience was very personalised. Thank-you so very much for my ring <3.  I can’t wait to see what more there is in store for Re.
