Mossing around
Moss is one of my most favourite pieces from the soul metal collection. I love her, she is imperfect, she is nature, she is everything!
The inspiration behind her comes from moss (if it wasn’t already obvious) there is something so beautiful and special about flower less plant that people often class as not as “perfect” as flowered plants. But when you look closely at how it hugs the trees and finds itself growing amongst human made things and adds so much character to it. It is unapologetically itself! It has no shame, it has no embarrassment, it lives it authentic self and grows wherever the heck it wants to when us humans don’t want it there!
This is something we should embrace as humans, we should live authentically ourselves, embrace the imperfections and live with no fear of judgment from others in our hearts. Then I truly believe we will be able to be our true selves and live life to our fullest.
This stone in this ring is not only the ‘imperfect’ thing about it, I also included all of the markings, scratches that I made to make this ring one-of-a-kind and mimic the rawness of being human and match those markings in nature.
