flowers that inspired me

my next collection re-bloom is inspired by the colours of spring, more specifically, the colours of the flowers. I have never been more excited to feel the weather warm up, the days get longer, the colours of the world get brighter. I have been out in nature much more, basking in the sun, looking at all the spring flowers blooming and it has made me so inspired and connect with myself so much more creatively.

Years gone by, Spring has just flown by, I have never really taken notice or been conscious of the changes around me, but this year I have been so connected to the world around me that the spring flowers feel like they've been screaming at me... which inspired this collection. 

I will talk more about the collection in another post, this one is going to be all the flowers that have inspired me, the gemstones I'm using and the properties behind them. I want to use the combination of the meaning of the flowers and the properties of the gemstone to create beautiful pieces of art that we can connect to and wear on our bodies to connect deeper to ourselves and nature. You will be able to find a piece that can connect to you personally, weather the flower or the gemstone. Whichever one you feel called to, let it be a sign that your soul is connecting to meanings of the piece. 

I have been researching the meanings behind the flowers and the stones and these are the things I have found... I can't guarantee wearing this jewellery will bring you these powers, these feelings and energy these stones can give you. We are all in control of our own minds and we are master creators so we can harness whatever energy we want. I am just letting you know what has inspired me to make these pieces and the story behind my inspiration behind them.

Introducing: 

Lily-of-the-valley/Opal 

• the flower is a symbol of re-birth and new beginnings. This is the perfect flower for spring, as spring is the time we can embrace the new beginnings and all the changes that happen in our lives. 
• the stone is an opal, which hold the properties of intuition, personal power and removes fear.

In my opinion these pair together are the perfect ring for someone who wants to get out their comfort zone and embrace new beginnings but needs a little extra push and confidence to do so. I love this stone so so much, it is so tiny and delicate and the beautiful colours you can see in the light remind me of delicate and details you can find on the flower. This one is defiantly one of my favourites!

Azalea/Cherry Quartz

• the meaning of this flower is femininity and love. This beautiful pink flower screams feminine to me. The beautiful pinks, the beautiful shape, makes me want to connect to the feminine energy I harness inside me and just wear pink and have every single thing pink. 
• Cherry Quartz properties are emotional balance and friendship. As a female, hormones can play a big part of our lives, so sometimes we all could do with a little bit of emotional balance when our hormones are out of wack - and in my opinion friendships as a female is one of the most beautiful and amazing things about being a woman. our connections are so deep and our love for each other runs so deeply. I tried to find a ring that had speckled deeper pinks to try and replicate the pattern on the flower.

These properties and meanings are the perfect combination to allow us to connect to our femineity, our friendships in that femineity and maybe balance those emotions (not too much though because being emotional is our superpower!). This is such a powerful piece of jewellery that every soul who wants to connect to that part of themselves inside and outside should get. 

Crocus/Lavender Amethyst 

 

• The crocus flower resembles joy, hope and renewal. The beauty of the inside of this flower reminded me of the colours of these stones, the lighter purple on the inside. 
• "stone of wisdom" is what this stone is called. Some guidance we all could do with in helping us connect with the wisdom we all possess that will allow us to make the smart choices in our lives this beautiful season. I often doubt myself and my smartness. In class in school, I would always know the answers to questions, and i'd say them in my head but always doubt that inner wisdom and would never put my hand up and 90% of the time I would get the answer right. This would of been the perfect stone for me to wear to connect with that part of myself. 

Snow Drop/White Moonstone 

• The flower represents renewal and re-birth. Which this is what spring is all about, spring is about new beginnings and embracing them fully. This is the perfect piece of jewellery is you're trying a new venture, want a new start or even want to re-invent yourself. 
• White moon stone is all about intuition, inspiration and goddess energy (yes!!!) this is what we need. Combining the renewal and re-birth we could do with the powers of intuition to know that where and what we should go next. Having inspiration to design our dream life and using the goddess energy to make it come true. We are all goddess and we harness the power inside us to connect to nature, connect to ourselves and create the dream goddess we want to be. 

Forget-me-not/Natural Blue Chalcedony 

• faithful love and remembrance. Two beautiful meanings of this beautiful flower. there is nothing more special in this world than love. Love is all we truly need. Love is all around us. We all come from love. It is the most important thing in this world. Remembering hose we love and have lost is such a hard yet beautiful feeling. We are keeping those we love alive by remembering them. Sharing the memories we have, basking in the love you had for each other. This flower to me represents the deepest connection of love. 
• The stone enhances creativity and calmness. The combination of creativity and love are two very powerful forces. To me they are the most important things in the world, and together they are unstoppable. Connecting to your creativity means we can create our dream life, we can make art for other people to enjoy, we can keep our imaginations active which keeps us connected with our inner child. Calmness also helps us in times of struggle with loss. Remembering someone can be overwhelming and dealing with grief can be overwhelming. Staying calm and connected to ourselves and everyone around us during this time will allow us to stay grounded and be at peace.

Tulips/Pink Opal

• Tulips represent perfect love and affection. How beautiful! We love a flower that brings more love into the world, we love anything that spreads love into the world. 
• love compassion and tenderness. WOW! This combination really screams LOVE! Love for ourselves, love for each-other, love for nature. This is the perfect piece of jewellery for all the lovers of love. Whether you want to harness more love all around you, more love for yourself. This ring really is inspired by LOVE.

Fox Glove/Tiffany Stone 

• The fox glove flower carries a dual nature symbolizing both the balance between harm and healing. 
• The tiffany stone is about transformation, creativity and personal growth. A perfect stone for someone who wants to go on a journey of transformation and personal growth. I have been working on myself so hard for the past few months. I have been working on transforming into the best ever version of myself, and this has taken a lot of healing. A lot of going through harmful mindsets and healing and working on them. Change, and growth is not easy. But to be able to come the person I've become and to become the person I want to be in the future I have had to do some hardddd work on myself. But the in the dark always comes the dark. Thats why I'm choosing these beautiful light and dark purple colours in the stones.

Iris/Dark Amethyst 

• Faith, wisdom, hope is the meaning behind Iris flowers. 
• Spirituality and protection are the properties of this stone. The combination of the hope, faith, spirituality and protection is a beautiful piece to wear if you're starting your spiritual journey. A time where we can connect to the universe. My spiritual journey took so much faith, so much hope and gave me the protection I needed in a dark time. Without my hope and faith in the universe I wouldn't of had the guts to start this business and hold faith that my dream is becoming a reality and I am so grateful. If you need a bit of hope and faith and connection to your spirutal practice, then this ring is for you. 

There we have it! A little look into the flowers that have inspired this collection. I have fallen deeply in love with all these stones, and took so much time choosing the perfect stone for each flower. Some are in your fact the same colour, some are subtle and you wouldn't know unless you looked deeply. I am so in love with this collection so far, I am in the midst of creating the collection and creating the pieces. There is going to be limited items available in this drop. Each piece will be completely unique and will  not be the same as another, meaning if you're called to a piece, it is yours and yours only. It will be created with positive energy, surrounded by good vibes and hand-made by myself with so much love, passion and creativity. 

These pieces are a symbol of connecting with ourselves, connecting with nature and connecting to the seasons and embracing this new season of re-birth. It is an opportunity for us to be who we really want to be.
